Happy Groundhogs Day!

Happy Groundhogs Day everyone...even though we now have 6 more weeks of winter...YUCK! I hope everyone made it through January okay! It's hard to believe we are already done with the 1st month of 2010...and yet I am still having troubles writing 2010 on everything..it's just awkward..anyone else having the same problem?
Well at this Buchholz residents not a lot is going on. We are both still healthy, and working away. The house is still standing, and we are still making progress on it as well...I could spend a many days buying stuff for the house. Lucky for me I have a husband that isn't into the whole decorating thing so he is keeping me at bay with spending all of his money haha.
My photography is really starting to pick up with people who have asked me to do stuff for them so I am very excited about that. I still wish we had a little more space in the house to actually have an in home studio rather than me looking for one but as time goes on I'm sure I will find the perfect space!
As young newly weds we are starting to get into the we want to hang out with friends but we are all in so many different parts of our lives that it makes it hard. However, we got together with a friend I went to high school with last weekend and she just got engaged, and I didn't know her fiancee so it was good for Dan and I as we hung out with new people but also had two of our friends from college there. I actually had to leave early on Sunday to go to a dress fitting out of town so I didn't want to stay too late, but Dan was just enjoying hanging out some much I pretty much had to drag him out of their house at 1:30. It was so great though, I love connecting with old friends, and her and I have so much in common, and oddly enough her fiancee and Dan were like peas in a pod. They both have the same job just different banks, and they both played football, and love video games..if Dan liked it so did Matt. I think this is going to be a great thing. Both Leng (friend from high school) and I talked and it's just hard to find people our age that aren't all about going to the bar and wasting money every day of the week. Being that the three of us couples all have places and are in the same places in our lives and have so much in common with each other, we were all so excited to plan the next get together...probably this weekend if Matt and Dan have anything to say about it!
I would say January was a great start to a new year. I hope things will be getting a little more exciting for us as the wedding season has officially started helping one of my best friends from college put the final touches on her wedding in the next month. God is doing great things for us and I am very excited for 2010!

Love from the Buchholz Family
