You know it's Spring when---
- We start to get excited about spring clothes
- Wedding invites start coming in
- You start planning home projects (for outside)
- You set a time for family photos (outside!)
- Your booked almost every weekend for the next 2 months!
We had an awesome weekend for the first weekend of March! We got to relax but we also got a lot accomplished! Friday we got a surprise with Dan coming home early from work. We got to make dinner as a family and spend the night playing all night! Oh, and let's not forget Dan went to get us ice cream from DQ. Kypton took turns walking back and forth getting a bite from each of us.
Saturday- We did our biweekly trip to get groceries and took a late (very short) nap. Kypton was not about having a nap. I don't blame him. Daddy was home and he wanted to hang with him. We went to church Saturday night, and got dinner with my brother, Jenna and some of their friends after. Before heading home with a very sleepy little boy.
He played the whole time at church....its a blurry photo but it was the best I could get for how far away I was with my phone :)
Sunday--I woke up thinking it was Monday! The day got better I swear, I got to go see Jenna for her dress fitting (she looks so Amazing in her dress!) I can't wait until the wedding, we are very excited! After her fitting, I get out to the car and Dan and Kypton are eating chicken nuggets in the back seat. Kypton has always disliked McDonalds, I guess I just needed to get him sweet and sour sauce! We headed out to Scheels to look for some shirts that we could print on. We wanted orange but they were all out of Dan's size so we ended up just looking in the mall at some things for Kypton before leaving. Before heading home we stopped at the new Carter's store (trouble!) Kypton needed some new PJs. We are finally getting to the size where we don't have much for him. That's pretty good I would say, we made it almost 16 months! We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out, Kypton climbed around on his Dad and read books with him. It's amazing to see the relationship they have and how much they adore each other. It makes my heart smile :)
Last but not least--My best friend (Emily) finally announced on facebook that they are expecting. We have known for a while now but of course you don't want to say anything until they do. A very cute announcement...
check it out.. we are so excited for them! We can't wait to meet baby #2 in July...I'm going for a July 4th baby :) and I think it's going to be a boy. They know the sex but aren't telling...it's killing me :)
We have a busy calendar coming up...lots of fun! Now we just need this winter weather to go away! We have family photos, St. Patty's day, Easter, dress fittings, bridal shower/golf outing, and a wedding all in the next 7 weeks! We are looking forward to it all!
