Happy St. Pattys Day!!

Happy St. Patty's Day 2010. Hope everyone has their green on. If not consider this a pinch from Iowa *Pinch, Pinch*. I think tonight we are going to head over to a friends house, depending on what time Dan gets off work that is. I have to run a CD of photos over to a clients house, that I guess the mail man lost my first one I sent so I am going to hand deliver it. I think I should have done that in the first place anyway. Dan has the day off tomorrow, he wanted to watch the bball tourney so he took a PTO day. I get to work, but that's okay! I have so much to get done before this weekend.

My Great Grandma Turns 90 this weekend. I am in charge of getting a slide show together and putting all her ancient photos on a board for people to look at. Ah, I always wait til' the last minute so now tomorrow and Friday are going to be crazy busy. Saturday we are going to the Amana's for breakfast, then probably to Kolona (Amish town) or the casino (grandma still loves her slots). Then Sunday we are having a Open House for her and her friends/family members. It's going to be a busy but fun weekend. It's amazing that she is 90, she has great great grandchildren that used to be so un-heard of. I'm a lucky great granddaughter I must say. That is her baby picture below :)

On another note, our wedding photos are ready! I will post the password and website as soon as she lets me know that they are up and gives me the info. That way if you didn't make it to the wedding and want to see some photos everyone is welcome to take a look.

We hope everyone is doing well, Spring officially starts this weekend, and it has been very nice this week here, we hope so for all of you as well.

Love from the Buchholz Home!

March!

Wow, we're already to March, I hate to say it but this year is already flying by! We have actually been really busy besides removing snow almost every other day in February. My Dad (Hollie's Dad) turned the big 5-0 last month. So we had a little dinner party for him. We also spent a lot of time hanging out with friends last month. Nothing new as far as the house goes. I have started looking at ideas for the addition we want to add on though :) I'm more excited than Dan about the idea, he just doesn't like the idea of not knowing how to do everything and messing something up. Well I was raised that you can't learn if you don't try and the worst that can happen is, well it doesn't work out and you have to start again! I come from a background of construction workers so I have kind of learned by watching and then every now and then getting my hands dirty :) Things are still going great, Dan loves his job, however, he is starting to learn that sales is a die hard business no matter what company you work for or how nice people seem. I am so proud of him, he has been doing great at work, and really trying new things at home too.

March is going to go very fast, as we are already half way into it, this weekend Dan has a bachelor Party to go to, the following weekend my great grandma turns the big 9-0 and then the last weekend this month my friend Emily and I are throwing a Couples Bridal Shower for our friend Nicki (was the short Blondie) in our wedding, then from there we have Easter, and then the next weekend is Nicki's wedding so basically from here until the middle of April, we are booked. Thank the Lord we are married and living together otherwise I don't think we would ever see each other! I am happy that we have people in our lives that we care about and that care about us, this is what life is about!!

The photography is coming a long well. I need to update my blog for everyone as well as the website. I got a new client this past Monday and will be doing her photos this Spring. I am in the process of looking for more grants as well. So all is happy in this Buchholz house in Urbandale. We hope all of you are doing great! We pray for family and friends daily! We miss you all!
