The Countdown Continues...

We're 35 weeks and although we have been counting down for a while now...I think the last five weeks is always the longest part of the countdown!  I am doing a "Mommy," day on Saturday getting my hair and nails done while the boys are home watching football (would be my guess!)  After that she is more than welcome to come.  We are still looking for final pieces we want in the nursery i.e.. rugs, chandelier, curtains...but we have all the NEEDS to get us thru for a while, so she's welcome anytime...after Saturday!

We start our weekly appointments October 1st...then every Monday after that until she arrives!  The last three visits to the Dr. they have all warned me to get to the hospital if I start having pains.  It's nice to know they think things are going to go pretty quick and smooth as with Kypton but also a little nerve wrecking knowing I'm home with Kypton and Dan is across town at work during the day if something were to progress in the middle of the day.

The waiting game in all aspects of this is so hard.  With holidays starting and Kenzlie coming it's hard to know what to do next.  I have been looking for Halloween Costumes for Kypton, then I was looking at the "Trick or Treating" family events, and none of them start until October 17th (which could be pushing it) do I buy a Halloween outfit for kenzlie? Not a costume just something cute to wear out?  We are going to do the pumpkin patch this weekend to at least have our pumpkins no matter when she decides to arrive.  With Kypton's 1st year or trick or treating (and really loving candy) I don't want to miss it, and I am determined to do all the fun things, like going to the orchard, and the pumpkin patch, bake a pie and make cookies with him...now that he is old enough we can really start our family traditions.  Fall is my favorite time of year, if you couldn't tell.

Kypton's updates: Potty training--I'm sure if I wasn't pregnant with a million things on my mind he would be done with training already.  When I am energetic and on top of things for the day he does a great job, when I feel like an elephant and my hips are hurting he tends to have more accidents.  Funny thing is all he does is say, "new ones." Then proceeds to go to his room to get out clean underwear.  Or if he does have a diaper on he tells us when he is going.  So, it's not a matter of him being ready, more a matter of Mommy getting to work!  He is actually hilarious and more so with each day.  We have no idea where he comes up with some of the things he does but it's fun to see him grow into his own person!  Although, mimicking Dad is one of his favorite things to do!

Dan's updates: He has been busy, he had his 10 year reunion a few weeks back, went to Sumner for the ribbon cutting of his Brother's new hospital, and to his grandpa's 92nd birthday.  He has been golfing some, not as much recently but enough (in my opinion ;) ) He is playing with some guys for Central's Homecoming Golf outing this Friday.  Other than that he works, things are finally starting to slow down, mixed feelings on this.  We like the summer paychecks, but it's nice to have his full attention at night too!  We must not forget that fantasy is in full swing so weekends consists of football and helping him pick which players he should play!

Mommy Update:  I mentioned getting my hair and nails done this weekend and to be honest I CAN'T WAIT!!  I tried to schedule so I would only have to get my hair done once before Kenzlie arrived, and that didn't work so well!  It's been too long, and my hair is hating me for sure!!  Then I just decided I was going to take the morning/afternoon to myself before I become a Mom of two and it's even harder to schedule hair appointments!  I'm a little excited :)  Pregnancy is going great, was measuring small the last two appointments but the Dr. didn't seem like that was a problem.  Weight is still on track so that would be my guess of why they weren't concerned. I don't remember feeling this exhausted with Kypton but I don't remember a lot of things these days, ha! I'm starting to really, really feel massive.  I did get out for a walk with Kypton for a good mile last night and that made me feel a lot better.  I'm starting to get really anxious and finding I have a lot more questions for the Drs this time around then I ever did with Kypton.  I think that's because I somewhat know what to expect and I also have in my mind what I expect.  Which we all know things don't always go how they are "suppose" to or how we want them to.  Other than that we don't have any swelling, clothes are still fitting..I mean within reason, I can wear my jeans I just button one of the buttons instead of two...I keep thinking that is how I will know when I dropped. Enough rambling....

We are pretty busy with fun things from now until 2014-- Kenzlie's arrival, Halloween, Kypton's Birthday, Thanksgiving, my Birthday, Christmas, and then we are to New Year's...is it really possible that this year is almost over?!?  So much going on and so much to be thankful for!

In between little projects of getting things ready for Kenzlie and organizing (attempting) the house we have been having a lot of fun!

As always ending the post with some photos--
