I can finally say it is OFFICIAL!!! I am now a stay at home mommy to my amazing little guy!! To all of my close friends you know how badly I wanted the opportunity to stay home with my kids even before I found the guy I would marry! I feel so blessed that this would work out. I didn't give my two weeks at the school I just asked to be moved to the sublist, this way I could still get out a few times a month if I wanted. I will still help my Dad out a few hours a week but my full-time job is raising my little guy, taking care of our home, and taking care of the Hubby! So far, so good!
Staying home sure does make it a lot easier to stick to my new years resolutions as well! This past week we (as in Kypton and I) have tried recipes from Pinterest, read books, gone for very long walks in this beautiful January weather, cleaned out the closet for Goodwill, laundry, workout DVD's and now a blog to finish off the week!
I feel like the days go so fast as I am working on a sleep schedule with him so when he is awake we are playing on his mat or doing little chores or reading and when he sleeps I put him in his crib and it's go time for me on laundry, dinner, or a quick workout and shower. It's amazing how much gets done and how much better I feel about life when everything on the to-do list is complete and we can actually enjoy life as a family when Dan gets home from work. I wouldn't say all the stress is gone, but I would say I feel like I don't have as much on my shoulders now that I eliminated work, and school, like one of my boss's said...I have my BA so if I choose to go back to work it won't be an issue, and if I choose to go back to school then the time will be right...
Monday Dan was off work so we got to hangout and enjoy some family time, then it was back to regular routine on Tuesday. Here are some shots of our week..Enjoy..

Cleaned out 3 bag fills of clothes from my closet that I am taking to Goodwill
Dan asked where I was going to put all those clothes, mind you they have been in my closet, and I said Goodwill's closet =)

Playing on the mat with Tyson =)

One of our Pinterest meals this week...Two weeks of groceries for $80 not too shabby!
Father-Son bonding in their Gator gear for the bowl game..

Finally starting to enjoy bath time, we like the water a little warmer than most and to be covered with a warm towel while being washed...
Going for one of our walks this week although on Thursday it was in the 60's so we didn't have to be all bundled up, and I stayed awake for the whole walk!..(almost 4 miles)
Today we are going to take down the Christmas decor, dust, laundry, and some serious grocery shopping with coupons!! (I bet Dan will be thrilled)
Hope everyone had a wonderful week and you can relax and enjoy each other this weekend! Life is too short, stop and enjoy the day, at the end of your life I bet you won't say, "I wish I had worked more."
