Buchholz New Year!

Wow, its the middle of January already, can you believe it?

Things are non stop around here as usual.  Kids are changing/growing like crazy and Dan and I are really enjoying life!  I don't know what has been going thru the house but we have been having great conversation in the mornings before he leaves for work, and right after the kids go to bed and I get home from the gym were right back at the conversations.

We both have set some goals for the year and I have shared some of mine, it's not my place to share Dan's but I think overall that has been part of the big change.  We are both getting back to our healthy lifestyles we had in college and are both just happier people in general after a good hard workout.  I won't cover much on workouts/training here but if you want to know what all is going on with that feel free to stop over here!

As far as the kids, Kenzlie had her "2 month" check this week.  We had to reschedule from the last ice storm and that was as soon as they could get her in.  Even though she is almost three months! Either way, she is doing great with development.  Right where she is suppose to be.  She gained 3 pounds and grew three inches since her 1 month appointment.  She is 70% for height, 46% for weight and 15% for head!  I think she takes after her mom on all of that :) No complaints here!  She hated her shots, she cried all the way home and every time I changed her or had to move her legs got very cranky.  Poor thing!  Otherwise she is ALWAYS smiling even when she sleeps.  She has started "talking" non stop.  She falls more in love with her brother everyday.  Even to the point of smiling when he is in trouble.  Of course, he notices and then says, "that funny?"  Then how do you get mad?!?

On Kypton's side of life--Just when you think he is talking really well, he comes up with more.  This morning it was, "that's from last night?"  Talking about his half drank cup of milk. Then as he was getting ready for nap he tells me he needs to go kiss sissy.  As I'm watching he says, "love you, sissy," with a kiss.  Talk about a teary moment!  He is really the best big brother.  He loves her! He has the biggest heart and I hope as parents we can continue to help him keep that. He has SO much energy there are days I literally don't know how I keep up, but I manage...at least until Dan gets home so we can tag team! Haha!  We love him and even though he tests our patience daily, we wouldn't change it for the world!

I had to take some photos for my coach and then Kypton decided he wanted to show his muscles!

Muscles!!

We have a lot of strawberry in our hair color!

Cuddling with Mom before she goes to the gym!

iPad with Daddy

Monday after a BUSY weekend, passed out on the floor while playing!

Stole Mom's OJ!

Silly Mom, why are you taking pictures!?

"Take picture"

Hugs and Kisses time!

I cried and cried because all I wanted to do was sit up and no one would listen
finally they got the chair out for me!

BUBBLE TIME!

I want to cuddle with her!

She was smiling like crazy, then the flash went off and this is the face we got!
she was suppose to be eating but all she wanted to do was smile at us!

I ran to get something and this is what I came back to.
Such a big helper!

Smiles!

Dan and I are keeping busy with the everyday aspects of life, work, cooking, cleaning, going to the gym...nothing real exciting on that front!  But at the same time we are really enjoying what God has blessed us with and enjoying the moment.  I am bound and determined to make this the best of years to come for this Buchholz family!

Hope the New Year has started out right for all of you!

Love the Buchholz's!
