The house is officially listed with Iowa Realty!!!
I am ready for it to be sold...ready to be on to our next adventure, and be able to celebrate.
The photos were taken today and that was the last thing to get it all listed....now we wait...some more...
While we've been waiting on the house to sell, we've done some looking, cost comparisons, debating, updating of the budget, and some more selling. We're technically not really waiting. We are believing our home is going to sell fast and we are planning for the future. As much as possible, that is.
We've sold our living room furniture. 1. We thought we wanted recliners. Now, we hardly use them because the kids are either trying to play under them, or are running around them and we don't want one of them to fall on the metal piece. 2. They are HEAVY and BULKY, also something we thought we wanted. 3. EVERYTHING goes under them because they recline and we have wood floors there is a larger gap on the bottom. Which means, every toy car or every small toy has at some point claimed it as their hiding spot. When you have more reasons to get rid of something than you do to keep it in our house...it goes...sell, donate or trash. Depending on the size of our next place we have two options/styles of furniture picked out and the color. Basically, we have made a profit selling our furniture and buying new furniture to go towards our next financial goal. Can I get a whoop, whoop...SCORE!
Meanwhile, Kenzlie decided she no longer wants to wear diapers. We've been working on potty training for about two weeks and she has it down. We haven't tried night time yet, we're still working on naps. However, I haven't bought diapers in two weeks and she has done awesome, especially this week, going in to the bathroom on her own. Ahh, the joys of no longer having to buy diapers. Another SCORE for the budget! She picked out her own undies and of course of all the different ones Target has she got Doc McStuffins. She loves her show and doesn't like when Kypton choses to watch something other than, "Doc."
Last night, being the house is cleaned and ready to go we didn't really want a mess, it worked perfect that my Brother and Sister-In-Law invited us to the ICubs game. It was a 1st time for the kids, they did great. It was puppy night so of course Kenzlie was in puppy heaven.
My Sister-in-Law is going to have her baby boy any time now, so I just keep hoping and praying! Kenzlie loves to say his name and Kypton told me last night, "Jenna already had the baby, remember? Paxton." I think he is going to be in for a rude awakening when he doesn't have his Yenna and Uncle G to himself anymore. Another waiting game to throw in the mix.
Do you ever feel like life is all hurry and wait? You can't do one thing until you know what yada, yada, is going to do/happen. It literally makes me crazy some days. I know, I have to let go and trust God. But, seriously, just seriously. Everything always works out the way it is suppose to. I honestly believe that. We may not like that we have to go thru the Valleys to get to the Mountain tops, but man it feels so good when we get there, right?
Hope everyone had a great Summer, and is ready for Football season to start soon..Yahhh Fallll!!!
Love,
The Buchholz's

Hustle and Bustle
Christmas is quickly approaching and we are having quite the month already!
My birthday on the 2nd--we didn't do anything special as I wasn't feeling well, I slept pretty much all weekend. I'm going to chalk it up to pure exhaustion because I pretty much slept for 3 days straight besides going to the grocery store for an hour. Thank God for Dan for letting me sleep while he did all of my normal duties!
We are in week two of potty training. Here is the run down on this. We have been trying, well, since the middle/end of summer (when I was massive) and I would work with him and he would fight tooth and nail. So, I said, "I'm not going to fight, I'm too big and too hormonal!" We let it go and let him do his thing. The annoying part--he would tell us EVERY time he was going to the bathroom..in his diaper. Then he would say, "it's okay, diaper on!" Which was even more annoying to me because he knew it was okay to go in a diaper just not in his underwear, arg!! So, two weeks ago now, he randomly said, "go potty," then proceeded to his potty and needed help getting his diaper off. I decided that was it no more diapers. We started a week ago Sunday, and he was doing great. Then we got a mouse in our bedroom so we went to stay with my parents until we caught it. It got us a little off schedule, he ended up getting a bad cold, and me being the worry wart didn't want him to wet their crib. Which ended up with a few accidents last week, mostly at nap time. Once we got home Sunday I made it clear to him and Dan that, "there is no more diapers!" We have had two accidents 1 when he got up the 1st morning without a diaper, and that same day at nap. Then he started to fight me every time I said he needed to go try to use the potty. I was so annoyed...hence my Facebook post which most of you probably saw. I finally just let him tell me when he needed to go and it has been 100% better and no accidents!! Crossing everything and knocking on wood, ha! I am praying this continues and we have only 1 in diapers come 2014..and she is in cloth so we wont be buying any more diapers!!! 2014 is looking up already ;)
As for more awesomeness--and let me be clear our lives aren't always sunshine and roses, we have a lot of things we can't control I just choose not to dwell on them, that may or may not be a good thing but ehh if tomorrow never comes at least I was focused on the positive, right?!?--Anyway, back to the awesomeness...Dan and I do every other night with the middle of the night feeding. Well, last night was my night and guess who slept ALL NIGHT?!? Yup, Kenzlie Grace! Dan did a feeding at 9:00 while I was at the gym and put her in her crib about 10:00 and I woke her up at 8:00AM this morning! This is probably a fluke, although, she has been doing the sleeping in longer spurts we knew it was just getting it at the right time of night so hopefully, fingers crossed, we have got it in the right spot. We shall see, time will tell right? Although, we know we can't complain with only having to get up once in the night, being she is only 6 weeks old! More of Kenzlie, she is finally starting to smile at us, she is really independent (I have no idea where she gets it ;) ) but when she wants cuddles she wants them now! It's really hard not to give in as they are few and far between!
Back to the mouse (I'm sure some of you are curious) I was getting up to do a feeding last week and I heard cords moving behind our bed, although, at first I thought it was sleeting out. Which I was told I probably was hearing the mouse climbing in the vents. (YUCK!) Either way, I got down on the floor with my phone flash light and there was this little mouse looking back at me. I jump on the bed and Dan, clueless, asked me what I was doing...oh honey, I'm just trying to get on you at 5:15 in the morning, by putting a flashlight in your face and saying, ewe, ewe, I knew it!! Haha...so I then ran to the bathroom and sat balled up on the toilet. Had Dan get Kypton out of bed (because I thought I saw the mouse run in his room) give me a break it was 5:15 and I saw a mouse--I was freaking out! Mean while I talked to my Dad and he was bringing over the sticky traps to put down. I took the kids to my parents, where we stayed until Saturday. We caught the mouse Friday night, but we wanted to make sure their wasn't a second one so we stayed with my rents and extra night. Ah, I know people keep telling me it has nothing to do with how clean your house is, and it's totally normal! Oh, no sir, I'm not okay with it on any level. So, the mouse is gone and I'm still working on getting over the fact that it was ever here!!! Please, Lord, NEVER AGAIN!!
Hmm..as for this week I ventured out with the kids by myself..to the grocery store none the less. Only took an hour, I was presently surprised. It only sucked as it was way to cold out and my fingers were freezing trying to get them in and out of the car, being that when I have my gloves on it's just obnoxious trying to push the buttons and yada, yada..you know what I mean! I think that is all the updates for now (that I can remember.)
Hopefully, everyone is having a blessed holiday season. I hope to get 1 last post in before 2014 but no promises!
Here are some of the birthday photos and some other randoms from the last few weeks..enjoy!

Baby, Baby, Baby...ohhh Baby...
Ha, yes I just used Bieber's lyrics as the title. I'm not a lover but not a hater of him I kind of just see him as another young artist finding himself. Enough about that though :)
So, as I start running into people more now that it is nice out and we are out and about more. People tend to ask how things are going. I can't remember everything I have posted about this pregnancy and I didn't take the time to go back and look either, so I thought I would do a quick update!
We are 18+5 so almost 19 or almost half way. However you want to look at it. We find out on June 18th what we are having, yes, I realize that is 21 weeks but they didn't have any available appointments for our 20th week, so we wait! Either way we are excited to see what we are having. We just pray for healthy. With all the crazy, scary stories we have heard about pregnancy lately we are just going for healthy!
As for me--feeling a gazillion times better if that is possible. Morning sickness is finally gone, I think 16 weeks was when it finally ended. If that is any indication of health for the baby, we have a healthy baby ;) These days I am starving all the time, and I mean alllll the time. I do try to watch what I am eating but Cosmic Brownies will be the end of me. If you know me from college days you probably find that funny as I could eat a whole box of those in a days time, then I went thru a period where I couldn't even look at them. Well, that is officially over as I got super excited to see the BIG box at Walmart, Ha...ya! I'm not really sure about cravings with this one, it seems to be all over the place from fruit and veggies...I'm loving my veggies, I had a long period where a fresh salad was the only thing that sounded good, but I still love my sweets which I remember nights with Kypton that Dan would have to make a candy run for me. My body is totally different this time around. I do think I am carrying a little higher this time..at least for now. If you can use your imagination other parts are significantly bigger then they have ever been..sorry TMI for some of you ;) Other than that, I can't remember exactly how big I was half way with Kypton but I feel like this time around I'm smaller, which probably really isn't the case I'm just hoping..haha. Trying to set that, baby #2 you get bigger rumor aside! It helps that we are walking a lot more though, so I'm getting plenty of exercise this time around. With Kypton I was working and going to school so we did a few walks during the week but not like this time. I think yesterday a lone we walked about 5 miles between morning and our night time walk (LOVE IT!) Other than that things are going well.
We haven't bought anything yet. We were going to put baby boy in with Kypton so we still had the office, but after thinking about it...yeah, I can't do it. I feel like that is Kypton's room and we worked really hard to make it Kypton's room. I feel like him having to give that up will make the transition a little harder actually. I know some of you are probably like...he will be fine. Your right I'm sure he would be. However, I also look at it as, yes, this is baby #2 and he/she should feel just as special that we worked hard for his/her room and made his/her homecoming and birth just as exciting. No baby #2/middle child issue from the start right..ha! Basically, that means we are waiting just like we did for Kypton...to see what we are having before we pick out anything!!
Which brings me to the gender reveal. This time seems a little harder as reveals parties are becoming more popular. We did the open the gift one for Kypton and let my parents open a picture frame with the sonogram and a baby boy poem in it. This time like I said is harder with more and more people doing them. The balloons have been done, that cake has been done (a ton), we did the gift, we have ideas but nothing that is like screaming at me, Yes, that is the one. We have a few weeks yet but we still want to get everything we possibly can together before hand as we find out on a Tuesday and my parents leave the following morning for the Bahamas. Rough life there ;) So, basically we will have to have the get together on the Tuesday. Which now if I think about it I think we found out what Kypton was on a Tuesday! My guess is the next blog will be about what we are having, of course unless something super fun/exciting comes up before then.
As of today the only thing that could happen before then is potty training. Kypton started a couple weeks ago by getting the wipes out and going to lay down in the middle of the floor, and we were like what the heck is he doing...he needed changed. Then he started pointing to his crotch when he was going to the bathroom so we would know, and then change him. As of this morning it changed to saying, Yuck, going to get a diaper and wanting to wipe himself. Sooo...I guess we should get on the training. I'm nervous that he isn't really ready but if he is I don't want to delay it. Plus, I'm not ready for accidents...and I know they are going to happen. With nothing in the plans for the weekend I figure is would be a good weekend to try at least. Any advice would be appreciated!
Hope everyone is doing great, and you are enjoying the beautiful weather today and it looks like its going to be a great weekend! I'm waiting for Kypton to wake up to go for a walk!!
