M.I.A. and 7 Months =)

So sorry I have been M.I.A. in blogging! We have been rather busy around this house!

So, what have we been up to?  Let me go down the list...

Well, Kypton is 7 months- He is officially on the move... He actually gave his Daddy a very good 27th birthday present this year!  He officially started crawling on Daddy's birthday =) He hasn't stopped since! he has learned to clap.. (for the books 6/13/2012) he started to clap when we say, "yeah, Kypton!"  He is weighing in at 19.1lbs as of two weeks ago. As of yesterday (6/24/12) he really started pulling himself up on things, we have quiet the little daredevil on our hands.  He also got his first tooth on Uncle Garrett's birthday (6/20/12!)  It is amazing to see him change everyday, I swear he changes over night.  There was one morning I put him in his highchair and I looked at Dan and said he looks like a little boy not a baby anymore :( I love to see him growing up but at the same time I am going to miss the baby stage.  Needless to say it has been a busy month for him.

I was watching a friends daughter these last four weeks, which is part of why I haven't had time to get my blogging done.  I was just too pooped by the end of the night I wanted to crawl into bed and cuddle little man and get some sleep. I got to see what it felt like to have a three year old and a 7 month old...let me tell you it's quiet the workout plan haha! We had fun going to the park and eating popsicles.

As far as the family goes, besides trying to keep up with Kypton we are enjoying having Dan home on the weekends now that it is summer.  Dan is still keeping busy at work and at home at night, but not complaints here (for the most part ;) ) Sometimes I would like him to be home at a normal hour but most of the time it seems to all work out great.  I get my gym time in, we just really have to communicate which I think we are getting a lot better at now that he works longer hours.  I tell him in the morning if it is a gym day, which typically is every other day. He doesn't have to be home early or anything but he knows when he does get home, I will be leaving, dinner is ready but he has to watch Kypton until I get done at the gym which is typically about an hour or just over. As far as me and working, Dan and I decided that the in-home care just isn't worth it. Besides me being zonked at the end of the night, I try way to hard not to give Kypton all my attention so then at the end of the day I just want to be with him so then I slack on making dinner and cleaning the house.  Plus we don't have to worry about sickness and all that comes with that.  So, I will just go back to being a stay at home mommy and wife.  I can't complain I love it and enjoy every second of it!

I havent talked about our puppies lately but they are doing great, Kypton loves dogs! They kiss him and run around him, and he just grins.  He tries to kiss my brothers dog all the time, it's so funny.  We were a little worried at first that he wasn't going to like dogs but so far it turns out he enjoys their company.

Here are some photos from the last month or so...
