A Million +1 Updates...

Okay, maybe not a MILLION but it sure feels like we have been super busy the last couple of weeks...or week now that I actually think back...

Where to start?...How bout with the patio..which reminds me I don't have a photo yet, but it looks SO good.  Thanks to my brother in law Bill..with a side help of Dan ;)  We don't have the landscaping done so as soon as we get that all done I will be sure to post photos!

Along with a patio comes patio furniture right?  Well, I'm a big Pinterest fan...and I like to not only pin but actually try out my pins.  Sooo if you don't want me to have a project...don't show me :)  My brother and I both found a farm table and I had to have it...so thanks to my Dad...he had some lumber laying around his warehouse and let me use that!  I found my chairs on good ole' craigslist and gave them an update.

I have photos of the chairs before and after but I don't have a picture of the table completed...must do that!

Shockingly and with a TON of help from my family we got the table and three chairs completed in a week in time for a patio get together with family and friends.  Or so that is what we told said family and friends to get them to come over :)

We actually got our 20 week ultrasound moved to last week instead of today, so we were doing a surprise reveal for everyone.  Sadly, I didn't get pictures but we did a silly string fight which we got all of it from the dollar store so it was pretty cheap.  This was Dan's idea...we got all blue except one pink to say (just in case you missed it) IT'S A GIRL!  Now, for those of you who know me, yes, I am excited there is a little princess on the way as I wanted it boy, girl, boy, girl (so far we're on our way!)  However, I would have bet a million dollars it was a boy, so I am still wrapping my head around having to buy all new things for a little girl.  The only thing purchased thus far are $1.50 worth of fabric swatches for Kenzlie's room.  No clothes or anything, I know some of you are probably in shock after reading that.  Dan picked the colors and the polka-dots, I picked the floral pattern.  I can't wait for them to get here so we can match paint and get to work!  I love me some projects...Dan hates them ;)

Needless to say we have a lot of work a head of us getting ready for a little girl.  We honestly thought it was going to be another boy so we weren't really prepared for all the shopping and decorating we get to do but we are both excited.  It's fun to have Kypton say Kenzlie, and although he doesn't understand yet we know he is going to be a great big brother and of course a great helper.

Which brings me to today--Happy 19 Months to our little man!  He has grown so much literally in the last few weeks.  It is amazing to hear him repeat (almost) everything we say.  We have to listen very close sometimes to get what he is saying but a lot of times he can say it and we get enough to know what he means.  Side note--Some of you are probably wondering how potty training is going--we did well for 3 days and he does great when he is wearing underwear but we were so busy running around last week I wasn't confident in letting him go without a diaper.  We will get there, I'm not going to rush him.  He does sit on his potty a lot and still shows a lot of interest so I'm not too worried!

We ended today with a trip to Homemakers to look at cribs, of course the one I really want they don't carry...but I guess that's why ordering online has become so easy right?  Still a lot to think about...I'm starting to get the overwhelming feeling as I know the last few months will go fast, it's actually hard for me to believe I'm 21.5 weeks today..yikes!  I'm very thankful for an amazing husband who manages to keep me level headed thru all these hormonal moments haha!

Here are some photos:
