Time..Goes...By...

Time seems to be flying by.  At least most of the time.  We are at 27 weeks, and Kypton is at 20 months.  I honestly don't know where the time has gone, but we have been having a lot of fun and just enjoying each day.

Snuggles at first were not wanting my little man to grow up so fast, and they have now turned to it wont just be you come a few more months so give me all the snuggles in the world.  Kypton is going to be a great big brother.  He love's going into "Kenzie's" room.  We have the door shut for now, one less room to have to clean up daily.  However, if we get something for her or her room we take it in there and then it's his favorite room to play in.  He's learning nice touches and feeding his animals as well.  He picked that up on his own so we just go with it :)  It's hard to believe he is almost two, other than the terrible twos that we have been dealing with I'm ready for year 2 with him :)

Kypton's room got the "upgrade" to big boy.  We haven't taken the crib down to toddler bed yet as he hasn't tried to get out and he sleeps great so why ruin a good thing.  Kenzlie got her own crib so were not in a need of a crib either.  Kypton got rid of his changing table and baby baskets, and his dresser came out from the closet so he can help put his clothes away after doing laundry.  He's always a great help with that sort of thing.

Kenzlie's room is painted, the dresser was found and painted.  We have to put shelving up in her closet yet but that's an easy project so we're not rushing.  The crib will be here in two weeks.  Bedding is picked out just waiting to order it until the crib/mattress arrive to make sure we have the right measurements.  We have yet to decide what is going above her crib, and yet to find the chandelier we like (at a price we are willing to pay!)  We have decided to go with cloth diapers.  I can't explain how FREAKING excited I am.  It really only took someone with knowledge and getting Dan into the store for him to say, "ok, I think you have me sold!"  Ahhh...yes, I am SO SO SO excited :)  The only things we have left (big wise) are the diapers, double stroller, and clothes.  Yes, I said clothes.  She has 3 pairs of Pj's, two track suits, and a dress to her name.  I know, I know, Hollie, you are having a girl, you miss queen of shopping and fashion, have no clothes for your daughter.  I can't even say I bought them all I think I have bought 1 thing in that bunch.  It's just crazy to me, and I keep telling myself I'm waiting for the fall lines to come out, but I'm not sure things are going to get easier.  I like pink but I'm really more into purple for Kenzlie.  Of course, there is like NO purple out right now (that I love!)  I'm not into characters all over close, I really like girly, frilly, stylish stuff.  Do you have any idea how hard that is to find around here?  Carters is great, however, my taste is just a little bit different, don't get me wrong for being around home the typical, Gymboree, Gap, Carters yada, yada will be fine.  I just hope fall has a few different things :) Okay, end rant about Iowa's awesome shopping choices ;)

As far as Dan--Still working his little booty off.  We are very grateful for his handwork, love, and support.  I honestly don't know what I would do without him.  I fall more in love with him daily and couldn't have asked for a better husband and father.  Kypton is to the point now he hates when Dada, has to go to work, it a couple minute meltdown until I can get his attention onto something else.  After nap time in the afternoon he asks if Dada is home..."nope, not yet..soon though!" Love them both and love seeing them together.  Dan has gotten a lot of golf in this summer which he has loved.  He was complaining yesterday it has been close to 3 weeks since he played...he's playing on Friday!

For the pregnancy--This are moving right a long.  Still feel great.  Got hard workouts in all week, which felt AMAZING.  I was a little shocked I could still do some of it without being completely out of breath.  I will go ahead and say that's from all the walking we do.  The weather has been so amazing this summer so far.  There were a few weeks it was to hot to be out walking but for the most part we get out miles in!  Today its nice enough to wear jeans...and to my surprise I am wearing my regular jeans :)  Dan thinks I'm a little bigger than I was with Kypton at this point.  It's hard to say.  Weight wise I'm right on, but it's totally in different spots this time.  With Kypton my face looked like a pug starting at like 20 weeks, my fingers were swollen I couldn't wear my rings for most of the pregnancy, my boobs didn't grow until the end, and they made a 'C' at most.  Kenzlie on the other hand--can you sing, "I like big butts and I can not lie?"  Booty is bigger, my legs would be a lot bigger if it wasn't for walking and working out, fingers not swollen, face not swollen (yet, anyway,) boobs--well let's just say this is a size I never dreamed of seeing without having to buy them, HA!!  So, basically the weight is the same it's just spread differently :)  I'm not worried, I always start under the BMI they suggest for my height and weight anyway, I know I am going to get right back into working out after she is here just like with Kypton, and with our 5 year anniversary coming up next year...my goal is to be able to put my wedding dress on.  Hopefully we can to a long weekend somewhere warm, so I best be getting my booty back!!

As always here are some photos from the last few weeks...enjoy!
